Chapter 24
"I've been waiting a long time for this," Sean said. He hooked his thumbs under his elastic waistband and pulled down his shorts.
Julie forced herself to look at Sean's erection. If he was going to hurt her, she wanted to hurt him back. If not physically, then at least mentally. She tried to blink away the tears that had welled in her eyes and cursed herself as they flowed down her cheeks. A look of sadness was not what she wanted to portray right now. Unable to wipe the tears away, Julie decided to push on with her idea anyway. She knew it would be hard, but she had to be convincing.
Sean stood proudly before her, holding his penis in his hand. "Nice, huh?" he asked, full of himself.
Julie timed it perfectly. Behind the gag and behind the fear and behind the tears, Julie laughed. The sound was muffled, but she forced it to be loud enough to get Sean's attention.
Sean glared at Julie. He cocked his head as he studied her. At first he wasn't sure if she was laughing or crying. He had seen tears streaking down her cheeks a moment ago, but they appeared to be drying. He had also seen fear in her eyes. But that was also gone now. Her eyes appeared to be twinkling. And even though her mouth was stretched open from the sweat sock, Sean could see that her lips were curled up in a smile. The bitch was laughing at him.
"What's so funny?" he asked.
Julie looked in his eyes. Then she looked directly at his manhood as she forced herself to laugh harder.
Sean understood what that meant, what she was laughing at. But it confused him. He expected her to show fear. Maybe sadness. What he hadn't expected, though, was for her to mock him. Her, of all people, trapped in that ridiculous body cast holding that ridiculous pose.
"Stop it. Stop laughing," he commanded.
Julie continued to laugh behind the gag.
"I said stop it!" Sean demanded, outraged. No longer so full of himself, Sean's erection began to wilt.
Julie slowed her laughing, shifted her gaze to his face, then back to his penis as she again laughed heartily.
Sean stomped to right in front of her. "Shut up you bitch!" he ordered.
He was so close now that Julie couldn't see down there anymore. She met his gaze, let out an audible sigh, took a moment's breath, then laughed some more. This time, though, it wasn't completely forced. She had gotten to him. Hurt his pride. This was indeed something to laugh about. He might get the last laugh on her this night, but for the moment, she had gotten the better of him.
Sean knew it too. He knew she'd gotten the best of him just now. But he still had the upper hand. And he would make her pay. Dearly.
"I said shut the fuck up!" Sean said angrily. As he did so, he took a step back, cocked his arm and layed his hand across the side of Julie's head. Hard.
Julie saw the blow coming. Sean made no effort to conceal it. He hadn't needed to. He knew there was nothing she could do to avoid it. All Julie could do was cringe as his open palm raced towards her. She shut her eyes at the last second and took the blow.
Stars appeared in Julie's vision as she felt herself falling sideways. Sean had hit her so hard he knocked her off her feet. Julie saw the floor racing up at her in her peripheral vision and instinctively and unsuccessfully tried to brace herself for the impact.
Julie landed hard on her right elbow, the arm in the waving position. It rattled her teeth and bones and there was a terrible stinging sensation in her arm, but no real damage had occurred. The cast had protected her. She actually hit the floor twice, having bounced on the fiberglassed arm. To Julie's dismay and Sean's delight, her fall was not over.
Julie felt herself rolling forward from her side onto her stomach. She had hoped to come to rest on her side with her back leaning against the wall. No such luck. She began to rotate forward and knew that a bloodied, if not broken nose awaited her.
Julie's body continued to pivot. But just before her face came into contact with the floor, she felt the rug on top of the hardwood with her left fingers. Her arm - cast so that her hand protruded a bit forward of her stomach - saved her face from taking the brunt of the fall. Ultimately she did come to rest with some of her weight pushing her nose askance. But it didn't come with enough force to do any damage. She was, however, struggling a bit to breathe. With one nostril pinched closed and a sock in her mouth, Julie only had one nostril with which to suck in air.
"Not laughing anymore, are you?" Sean asked.
Indeed, Julie was no longer laughing. The entire left side of her head was throbbing and her left fingers were smarting from being crushed under her weight. Her already aching toes were also protesting from being smashed, given her current position on the floor.
Fortunately or unfortunately, Julie didn't have to stay in that position for very long. Sean bent over and grabbed her left arm. With a mighty heave, he jerked her up in one swift movement. She was standing again, with Sean's nose at her bruised nose.
"Let's see how funny you think this is," he said ominously as he spun her around and grasped her waist from behind. Julie felt herself lift off the floor as Sean carried her again to the bed. He thrust her forward and she tripped on the mattress at her knees. The comforter on her bed rushed up at her as Julie's face planted on top of it.
"Just for that, I'm gonna give it to you in the ass," Sean said. He scooted her forward so that her face hung over the side of the bed and she now looked down at the floor.
Julie felt him grab a handful of butt cheek in each of his hands as he bent over her.
Oh God, she thought. She gritted her teeth together, waiting for what was to come next. A thousand thoughts raced through her mind. She wished she'd never gotten herself into this position in the first place. She wished she'd have stopped Kelly from taking that drink. She wished she'd remembered that Sean was coming to the party. She wished that she could do something, anything to fight him. Anything! Tears again formed in Julie's eyes. She let them flow freely this time, watching them splash on the hardwood floor.
Julie felt Sean remove his hands from her ass and felt them sink into the mattress at her sides as he mounted her from behind. She could smell his lust. He reeked of it. She braced herself for his entry when there came a sound.
The sound was faint. Julie could barely make it out above the party music just beyond the bedroom wall. Sean must have heard it too for he paused.
The sound came again, louder this time. And this time there was no mistaking it. It was a knock. At her bedroom door. Someone was knocking on her door.
"Julie, are you in there?" a voice asked from the other side of the door.
Julie felt the mattress spring up as Sean launched himself off of it. She heard him pick up his clothes as he moved to the door. Julie tried to scream for help, but the gag still prevented it. She could only hope that the voice belonged to someone persistent.
Bang bang! The knock was really loud this time. "Julie? Are you in there Julie?" The voice waited a few moments. "I'm going to come in if you don't answer me."
"Julie's not here. Go away," Sean said.
Oh no! Julie panicked. Here was a chance for salvation. She couldn't let it get away. But there was absolutely nothing she could do.
"Where is she then?" the voice asked.
"How should I know? Now get lost," Sean said.
"I'd like to take a look around in there," the voice said. Julie heard the latch on the door pop as the person turned the knob.
Sean slammed his body against the door, holding it shut. He pressed his 200 lb frame against it as he pulled on his shorts and jeans. Sean was a monster, but he wasn't stupid. So far, other than hitting Julie, he hadn't done anything to her. Nothing that could be proven anyway. And if this person wasn't going away until they came in the room, he wanted to make sure he wasn't caught with his pants down, figuratively or literally.
"Open up!" the voice commanded.
"I said get lost," Sean repeated, agitated.
Julie, still lying motionless on the bed, was chewing on and pushing against the sock in her mouth with her tongue, trying desperately to force it out. Her voice was the one thing that she knew she could use to help herself if she could only...just...
Nothing. The sock was terribly, horribly, irreversibly wedged inside her mouth. Tears continued to flow from her eyes and her nose dripped as Julie writhed against her bondage.
Sean felt the door jolt as the person in the hall jammed a shoulder into it. "Open up!"
Sean Nichols finally resigned himself to the fact that the person on the other side of the door wasn't going away. He took one last look at his prize lying on the bed. Then he made his decision. Sean turned to face the door, grasped the handle and ripped it open, almost taking it off at the hinges. He faced a startled young man, maybe only 3/4 of his own size.
Sean straight-armed the guy as he barreled right through him and down the short hallway. "Let's go. Now!" he said to his three friends on the way out. They had been in the living room hitting on drunk girls when Sean had charged through the crowd. Obediently they followed him, not even bothering to offer apologies to their respective female interests.
And just like that, Sean Nichols was gone.
Julie continued to lie face down on her bed still trying to force the sock from her mouth when she heard a familiar voice enter the room behind her.
"Julie," Toad said. "What's going on in here?"
Toad had headed to the radio station to unload the van after dropping Julie off earlier. After that, he'd grabbed some dinner, then went home to shower. He spent the next couple of hours running errands and watcing TV. But all the while, Julie was never far from his thoughts. Toad knew he had to pick Julie up in the morning to take her to get the cast removed, so he had no doubt he'd see her again. But he also found himself not wanting to wait even that long.
Toad argued back and forth with himself whether or not to show up for the party. Julie had invited him, but her friend Kelly had made it clear to him that he wasn't welcome. After giving the matter extensive consideration, Toad decided that he wasn't going to let Kelly keep him away. And so, late as it was, Toad mustered the courage to attend the party.
Upon entering the apartment, though, Toad was astonished to find Kelly unconscious on the sofa and Julie nowhere to be found. He knew that she was completely dependent on Kelly for everything and that she hadn't wandered off somewhere by herself. He'd considered that maybe she was somewhere else with other friends, but decided that he wasn't going to leave until he'd explored every inch of her apartment. And that meant looking behind all the closed doors. Luckily for Julie, Toad was indeed a persistent fellow.
Toad blushed as he realized Julie was bare bottomed. "Are you okay?" he asked.
"Nnnnn, nnnnnn," came her reply.
Toad grasped Julie at the knees and flipped her over. "What the hell?" he said as he removed the moistened gag from her mouth.
"Oh, Toad. Thank God," Julie said with relief as the tears gushed from her eyes.
