I realise that there might be stories about minors, and I'm fine with that. Realistically, they are usually the only people who get the really big casts many of us like.

However, since there was a request posted for a storie around a child, and two rather WONDERFUL serials currently running with children, I just need to ask that there be NO sexual references AT ALL. I unfortunately need to take a zero-tolerance stance on this for legal reasons. Otherwise, have fun!

To all readers - The following is a fictional story (except for the very first paragraph which was true). Hope you all enjoy my daydream.

I was totally exhausted as I laid back on the bench of a picnic table at a wayside rest somewhere in Indiana. I'd been driving for almost 1 1/2 days, which, between the mid-summer heat, an air conditioner that wasn't working and the long leg cast I was wearing, had me totally beat down.

I can't say when, exactly, but I must have dozed off because I found myself waking up to, perhaps my favorite sound - the sound of aluminum crutches. My brain was instantly overloaded with information to process. Still groggy from my unplanned nap, I was trying to figure out where exactly I was while, at the same time, on "hyper-alert" status knowing someone in very close proximity to me was using crutches. I lay their momentarily, slowly remembering where I was as the sound of the crutches neared.

After about two months in her braces Mary said she wanted a present for her 21 birthday and that it was to be casted again in a double hip spica. She wanted her knees bent at 90 degrees and her legs spread at only 60 degrees. The cast must also be in bright pink as my mom’s was. The day before her birthday I got all the supplies we needed and the next morning on her birthday we put on the cast just as she had described. She then said that this present would be long lasting one and that I was only allowed to take it off after my 21 birthday which was four months away. I had my cast on now for two months and decided to keep it on for another month.

And to her great surprise, Dylan removes the handcuffs and then, taking hold of the bottle of champaign, he collapses on the couch.
Katleen carefully sits up on the coffee table and puts her left foot on the table. It is horrible and she wonders what she will do. Then, she looks at the right one, less injured but the little toe also hurts like hell.
Dylan is half asleep and Katleen decides that she will take her clothes, that are everywhere on the floor, that she will dress, take her cellphone, go out and call for a taxi to go to the hospital.

But when she tries to stand up, she receives such a horrible blow in her feet that she falls back on the coffee table.

We left the apartment uncasted and travelled home. I dropped Mary off at her place and then went home. I didn’t tell my parents that I was coming as I wanted to surprise them. As I walked into the living room I was the one that got a surprise. My mother was fast asleep on the sofa in a huge pink double hip spica with her legs spread at 90 degrees. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I went up to her and kissed her on the cheek and she woke up. She was astonished to see me and then I saw her blush slightly. I knew that the cast she had was also recreational and I asked her how it felt to be in a hip spica and she told me that it felt so wonderful.

After the first meal, life on the ward began to settle down into a regular routine. Nigel would help Vicki get to her foot in the mornings; he would strap on her mask and thereafter she would wash and feed the other two. He removed her mask twice a day and after her initial lovely steak he laid out smaller portions of the other girls’ food for her.
It was a couple of days after she started feeding the girls that she asked the man if she could say something important.
“Yes O.K.” he had replied after a short pause.
“If you insist on keeping Lee in those plaster casts we really must turn her over and then do it regularly otherwise she’ll get congestion on her lungs, then she’ll be in real trouble”.

I am on my plinth in the middle of the medical bondage room and I can hear Anna guiding a group of visitors in the next room. I have been in this body cast for three nights now, which means it must be Tuesday today, and I haven’t regretted it … much. There are always the occasional moments of particular discomfort when your body cramps or when an imperfection in the cast is especially irritating, but these moments pass and your peacefulness returns.
“We have this cage on loan from a club here in the city, where it was designed to lock up one of their regular clients. In the Middle Ages similar cages would be used to suspend criminals from the city walls until they died from exposure and dehydration.”

After a long sleepless night spent crying and having bad dreams Natalie was dreading college that day, her mom came into her room and, after changing her diaper she placed her into her chair. After the straps were tightened she placed a blanket over her waist and legs to cover up her diaper. Natalie was mortified as her mom combed her hair and brushed her teeth for her. Natalie didn’t even bother to put some makeup on, she knew she would cry it all off.

She was placed into the back of the special car her mom had loaned and driven to college, she was met there by her friends who wheeled her into her first class. People stared at her the whole way, she could cope with the cast as she knew that people had seen casts on a lot of other students although none of them as big as hers but the halo brace and diaper she couldn’t cope with. People just stared and whispered in front of her face. It got worse when in her first class the lecturer told her that he believed she may benefit by using the college’s remedial learning section, she would be with other disabled students and would be able to learn at her own pace. She argued that she wasn’t disabled but had to give in when she realised that she couldn’t keep the same speed as the other students, she couldn’t write properly as she could not bend forward and the sheer size of her cast and halo brace was distracting the other students. She promised herself that she would not come back tomorrow no matter what her mom said, it was too humiliating. She didn’t have to stay, she was 19 and able to leave when she wanted too.

It’s around 9PM and Katleen is reading a book on her couch when she hears something in the kitchen. She lends an ear to it and it starts again.
She knows that she should have called the police but she doesn’t do it and she goes to have a look. Nobody !
She is about to go back to the couch when she hears a well-known voice
“- Hi Katleen, I have taken the liberty to use my key”
Dylan !
“- I thought you had lost it !”, Katleen answers, smiling.

Dylan is a previous boyfriend of Katleen and she is always happy to see him.
“- Are you tired ?”, he asks in a smile
“- No, why ?”
